Eclipse™ BC System

The Halcyon Eclipse™ buoyancy compensator system comes standard with a wing, backplate, harness and crotch strap, harness hardware, and a single tank adapter with cylinder straps. Assembly is required by the user. Additional items such as ACB weight pockets, MC Storage pak, etc. are not included in the base price of the unit. Additional fees may apply for system upgrades. Consult with your Halcyon Dealer for pricing.

  • Choice of aluminum and stainless steel backplate - standard or small size
  • Complete Secure Harness - Infinitely adjustable, and designed to fit you perfectly
  • Stainless steel Single Tank Adaptor (STA) with two cam straps and the ability to accommodate a weighted insert (additional fees may apply for weighted insert)
  • ACB10 weight pockets (4 KG / 10 LB capacity) (additional fees may apply)
  • Assembly required 
  • Inflator with 52 CM / 22 IN LP hose comes standard on Halcyon wings

About

The Halcyon Eclipse™ buoyancy compensator system is establishing a new standard for single cylinder recreational diving, while creating unprecedented streamlining, and eliminating the many unnecessary “features” that clutter traditional buoyancy compensators.

 

The Eclipse™ wing has a long, narrow profile that supports the diver’s single tank along his or her entire length, preventing unnecessary drag, and minimizing in-water effort. Meanwhile, the infinitely adjustable harness prevents the frustrating lack of control found with typical buoyancy compensators.

 

This added stability reduces drag by encouraging a streamlined position — these changes result in less effort and more diving fun.

I have owned many BC’s for all disciplines of diving. My Halcyon Back Plate Wng with cinch system is the top of the heap. Most Versitile and toughest - And the customer color option let’s you know which gear is yours !!!

Having had the forerunner of the Eclipse, the Pioneer for around 17 years, with a +900 dives, it broke down from (ab)use, and it was time for a new one, and so the choice was easy, to go for the Eclipse, and the first dive was great, and I stick with Halcyon for the coming years.

Love this setup, I'm a newer diver. originally I Got a Higher-end jacket style BCD. I am now getting into more Tec, / DIR/ Hogarthian diving set up and switched over the Eclipse set up. great ergonomic, simple but efficient backplate/ wing set up. i couldn't be happier with it. do yourself a favor and get one ASAP!

I started diving in 2007 and am still diving the SAME Halcyon backplate. Streamlined, strong, modular, it does it all!
